🎣 Scammers Have “Levelled Up”: Don’t Fall for the Game!

Ever been happily scrolling TikTok or enjoying your kopi, then suddenly—boom—you get an SMS or email that looks aesthetic and super legit? Supposedly from LHDN, PPZ, or your bank. Sounds urgent, right?

But actually
 it’s just phishing bait.

Scammers these days aren’t like before, using broken language. Now they’re pro-level. One wrong click, one password entered—and it’s sayonara to the money in your account. Gone in seconds, like getting hit by a Thanos snap!

So you don’t become the next victim, remember these 3 things:

1. Double-Check the URL 🔍

Before your finger gets too excited and clicks, take a good look at the link. Scammers love using URLs that look almost right.

For example, it should be maybank2u, but they’ll use maybank2uuu or m-aybank. Looks similar, but it’s fake as hell.

2. Banks/Government Agencies Don’t Send Login Links via SMS đŸš«

Rule of thumb: banks and government bodies won’t randomly send SMS asking you to log in or verify your account through weird external links.

If you see a dodgy link in an SMS—that’s a major red flag. Block it immediately.

3. Panicking? Call 997 Immediately! 📞

If you’ve already clicked or feel like you’ve shared sensitive info, don’t just sit there crying in the corner of your bed.

Call 997 (NSRC) ASAP. They can help stop money from flowing out of your account before things get worse.

Don’t be too trusting. Don’t click blindly.

Your money, your responsibility. Think twice before you get “bitten”! 🐟💾
